Best Post of the Week: Week Eighty-Three

It's time to link in your best post of the week!

The purpose of this column is to make it easier to keep up with each other's blogs, so that even if we don't have time to read all of the Alabama Blogger blogs every day, at least we get the week's highlights.

So, link up, tell us why you linked that post, and let's start reading! And remember - the best way to get new blogging friends is to comment on other people's posts, so be sure to say "hi" to your neighbors when you visit!

p.s. - please feel free to interpret "this week" as loosely as you like!

this post includes pics of that massive snowstorm we had in AL. Or...those 2 inches of ice. One of those. Also includes my weekly "what I wore" post

We move to AL and suddenly my son develops an obsession with trucks. Coincidence? I think not.

I invited a friend to share photographs from his pheasant hunting trip to South Dakota. They are posted from January 2 through January 6. He was very secretive about his favorite hunting location so all I knew was central South Dakota.

I have two to share this week ...

7. Magic City Post - 99 things we LOVE about Birmingham (and you will, too).

8. Wade on Birmingham - the Auburn BCS National Championship front pages from around the country. (You can put them on your site with the widget at the end.)

Looking forward to seeing all of you Wednesday at Mellow Mushroom Inverness (Birmingham) for the Alabama Bloggers lunch!

My post of the week is about depression. This time of the year is emotional challenging to a lot of people-holidays, lack of sun, life changes, new beginnings can all be overwhelming. I wanted to share a few tips and links so that if you are experiencing depression, you know you are not alone and their is potential in healing!

Finally getting back into the studio after a hectic holiday season of filling orders and visiting family in MS. This post is about my first batch of pottery for the new year.

If you haven't linked up and introduced yourself yet, be sure to go here to do so!
