Best Post of the Week: Week Twenty Nine

It's time to link in your best post of the week!

The purpose of this column is to make it easier to keep up with each other's blogs, so that even if we don't have time to read all of the Alabama Blogger blogs every day, at least we get the week's highlights.

So, link up, tell us why you linked that post, and let's start reading! And remember - the best way to get new blogging friends is to comment on other people's posts, so be sure to say "hi" to your neighbors when you visit!

p.s. - please feel free to interpret "this week" as loosely as you like!

Mine this week may not be the "best" post, but it definitely
stirred up the pot. It's titled "The Post About How to Use 'Xmas' and Still Go to Heaven"

Mine is a memory...of which I was surprised at the amount of detail I remembered as I started writing it.

Ours is a small sampling of how our readers make Christmas memories without spending much money. I really enjoyed reading them as they came in. Hope everyone else does too!

And Jamie - I loved your "Xmas" post!

I have four this week:

8. Wade on Birmingham - An analysis of the short, topsy-turvy mayoral race in Birmingham.

9. Wade Kwon.com - If you're having problems with your credit card company, you are not alone.

10. Birmingham Blogging Academy - A conversation between journalists about blogging and new career options.

11. Media of Birmingham - Bright House is about to drop its public access channel in Birmingham, and how it affects viewers.

Thanks. Looking forward to reading your posts.

My post this week was very hard for me to write. But now that I've written it I'm so glad that I did. I think it's something that everyone can identify with on some level. And if nothing else it can make you aware of another's pain.

My post is an invitation to enjoy Opelika's Victorian Front Porch Tour. You can drive through Friday night or Sunday night. If the rain holds off the streets will be closed to traffic on Saturday so you can walk the streets and get a closer view!
