Best Post of the Week: Week Twenty Eight

It's time to link in your best post of the week!

The purpose of this column is to make it easier to keep up with each other's blogs, so that even if we don't have time to read all of the Alabama Blogger blogs every day, at least we get the week's highlights.

So, link up, tell us why you linked that post, and let's start reading! And remember - the best way to get new blogging friends is to comment on other people's posts, so be sure to say "hi" to your neighbors when you visit!

p.s. - please feel free to interpret "this week" as loosely as you like!

Since everyone else has been doing two, so did I!

The first is what I think is my artistically best post of the week.

The second - a giveaway for five CD prize packs from Red Mountain Music!

Ha! Rachel honey, it's your blog so you can fill the linky with tons of posts and I wouldn't gripe :) You are so fun.

I don't know that the one that I linked to was my best but it certainly was the most relevant to Alabama.

Have a wonderful weekend!

My top 3 picks for the week ...

8. Wade on Birmingham - My latest volume of haiku, in one post.

9. Birmingham Blogging Academy - The only way I want to go public with complaints is after I've made every attempt to contact organizers and to be positive and constructive.

10. Media of Birmingham - An inside look at a new Christian magazine launching in 2010.

Looking forward to reading your top picks.

This week I'm going with another Life is Therapy post. We all have days (or nights) that wear us down and it is so helpful to take a look back at where you've been to remind you that this too shall pass and hey, you've been through worse than this. :)
Also, since I see that our fearless is posting two. I will do the same. :)
My second post will be an easy FREE way to give to a charity near and dear to my heart. We haven't needed their assistance yet but many people we know have and we benefit greatly from the online community that they have provided.

If you haven't linked up and introduced yourself yet, be sure to go here to do so!
